Sight Word Swat

Here is a little game I made up the other day when Max wanted to get a fly swatter from the 99 Cent Store. It just seemed like we could put that item to good use somehow, and so this came to me. I wrote four words on a piece of paper, words I knew he was familiar with, and we practiced reading them. Then I would call out a word and he’d get to swat it– fun! Sort of surprising to me was that he also really loved giving me the fly swatter and telling me which ones to swat.
