While standing with me in front of the space heater:
Max: “Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus went to Lowe’s, and they went to the heater aisle, and they picked out a heater for the stable.”
Me: “Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus lived a long time ago, long before heaters were invented. They only had a fire to keep warm.”
Max: {Pause.} “Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus went to Lowe’s and they went to the fire aisle and picked out a fire to keep warm.”
